Great feedback on FitKid activitites
It’s wonderful to hear such great feedback for Terese’s FitKid sessions. She is doing a fantastic job of helping the children of Kent stay Fit and Healthy.
I would like to offer my sincere thanks to Terese at FitKid for her work at Riverside Children’s centre over the summer holidays.Terese came each Tuesday for four weeks, for an hour session each week. She was very flexible when we asked if we could have a different type of active session which would fit in with our planned themed activities each week. The activities which were provided were fun, interactive and always varied. children of all ages were engaged into this session and held concentration for the majority of it, even though many are very young. The parachute games and ideas were fantastic and many of the parents commented on how well planned these sessions were. This was a great way of promoting healthier lifestyles in our sessions and have provided families with ideas which they can take home to use with their children.
The feedback we had from parents and children were all very positive and many have said they would like to have the opportunity to join in with this type of activity in the future. I would especially like to commend Terese on her efforts as the weather was very hot and with such an active session she never stopped working hard and running about with the children.
Thank you very much for all your wonderful play sessions you provided, and I very much hope to see you and the team in our sessions in the future! Faye McMahon, Children’s Worker,Riverside Children’s Centre

Boe loves The LazyTown Sports Club classes delivered by Adele in NE Lincolnshire
It was lovely to hear from Adele today who had received the following email from one of the parents who attends her LazyTown Sports club classes with her daughter.
“My daughter, Boe age 3, has been attending Lazy Town Sports Club classes every Saturday morning after enjoying the ‘Lazy Town’ celebration I booked for her 3rd birthday. Boe has made lots of new friends and really enjoys all of the varied and enjoyable activities which are accompanied by the exciting Lazy Town music.
Boe’s confidence has grown each week and I have seen an improvement in her balance, co-ordination and ability to play/share with other children. Boe’s Kindergarten teacher has also commented about Boe’s advanced sporting abilities compared to the other children in her class and explained how Boe helps to teach her class mates how to play the games and use equipment that she has learnt with Adele. Boe has even come first in all of the activities in her recent Sports Day which I believe was helped by the extra activities that she does with Adele every week. “Ria McKeon
Keep up the great work Adele, high quality sessions are the key to successs in helping children lead an active lifestyle. I just knew when Adele came onboard with FitKid as our franchisee in Lincolnshire that she was going to make positive changes to children’s lives.
Our job is so rewarding and worth all the time and effort put in to ensure the children attend sesisons which are both beneficial to their health but also fun and engaging.

Karina and the children have fun at Quarry Park
It was a fun filled day at Shrewsbury’s Quarry park in Shropshire when over a 1000 children attended the event. The quarry park was full of flags, banners and bunting as a major sporting and cultural event was recreated for the first time in nearly 150 years.
The county is celebrating its links with the modern olympics.
Karina ran a group Victorian PE drill for all participants after the event was opened.

I’m so pleased to hear Adele’s FitKid sessions are going so well
Adele Murray is our franchisee in Grimsby and she has been running sesisons this week at The Esporta, Humberston Country Club and has received this amazing feedback from a parent whos kids attended her session on tuesday.
“Just a quick email to say thank you for today. Jack and Lucy loved it! I was a bit worried this morning as Lou had decided that she wasn’t coming if I wasn’t staying so I didn’t know how it would go but as we were walking back to the car this afternoon, they both wanted to go back tomorrow so I think you have been a resounding success!
I’ve told them that if you do it in the summer they can go once a week so please let me know if you carry it on. I’ve never sent them to kids clubs in the hoildays but with work I really needed a day to get jobs done I can’t get done with the kids around and because they had such a fab time and I knew they weren’t stuck somewhere sat in front of a TV or computer game, I didn’t feel like the guilty mum” Nicola Sharp
Keep up the great work Adele, you are doing fantastic 🙂

Yesterday I headed to London to run a LazyTown Sports Club activity at a School and Church May Fair prior to Sportacus’ arrival.
The children had lots of fun and lots of Sports Candy was eaten.
We were in the process of jumping around when 3 large US military helicopters flew over, blocking our music with the loud noise from the helicopters. Was that President Obama in the Helicopter as he is visiting the UK ? If so he should have stopped off to join in the fun 🙂
